Since February 1998 Super RTL is the No. 1 among children television stations in Germany – A success story, which began on April, 28th 1995 and which provided positive headlines over and over again. In 2005, an annual average market share of over 26 % among the 3 to 13-year-olds was reached. For this reason Super RTL could successfully claim market leadership for the past six years.

TOGGO is the top entertainment brand for all 3 to 13-year-olds. Under this catchy name Super RTL bundles up all activities and properties that are fun to the kids of the relevant age group. Whether on TV or online and wherever the term TOGGO appears, children are at the right spot. TOGGO is their exclusive brand. That means for the Super RTL TV program: The preschoolers watch TOGGOLINO, the slightly older ones TOGGO. That doesn’t naturally mean that the young viewers have to avoid the evening program.

Super RTL is still a program for the whole family during each time of the day. With the label TOGGO, Super RTL directly addresses its young audience, while the other programs are meant also for adults.

Since December 1999, Super RTL also proves its expertise in children’s entertainment on the internet – with resounding success. Rapidly www.TOGGO.de developed to the leading address for young internet surfers and reached over 140 million page impressions in April 2006. With the unique internet platform TOGGOLINO CLUB, Super RTL already provides preschoolers with an opportunity to learn about computers and the internet, without the slightest effort. Since Easter 2005 TOGGO CleverClub targets the older kids between 7-10 years. By April 2006, both clubs count over 90.000 paying subscribers. Additionally the TOGGO Tour, the annual Super RTL road show, bears the significant TOGGO title. Thanks to its successful cross-medial strategy, Super RTL developed into the most powerful promotion machinery in the children’s sector. Last year the merchandising activities were logically intensified on a large scale. Like no other German license agency, Super RTL is in the position to support its licensees with cross-medial promotions – on TV, the internet and on events. Super RTL has great access to the kids and knows how to reach them. The popularity of both umbrella brands TOGGO and TOGGOLINO makes them interesting for the brand licensing, too. Many TOGGO products already sell quite well, like the TOGGO Pop-Compilation, of which the thirteenth edition was already released, the TOGGO bike or the TOGGO Lolly Flic’n’Lic, which was already sold more than 50 million times. Furthermore Super RTL primarily remains a TV-station – with a brand, however, that guarantees all around entertainment for children at the highest stage.
